Edinburgh World Heritage in conversation with...
The first conversation took place on 7 May 2020. ‘Is Edinburgh’s architecture at the dawn of a new golden age?’ was the question posed to three leading Scottish architects: Rab Bennetts, Richard Murphy and Malcolm Fraser. With a large audience tuning in from home, the panellists were asked to consider the extraordinary pace of change in Edinburgh, and, crucially, whether future generations would look back and call this a ‘golden age’ of architecture.

The entire conversation can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ao4D7pWQii4

Following conversations include:
1. How can we build a better Edinburgh? (with leading local politicians, 4 June 2020)
2. A writer’s guide to surviving a pandemic.
3. Is press freedom and local democracy under threat?
4. Addressing the climate emergency as a city

We look forward to the conversations and the insight they will share on many of the issues being tackled by the AtlaS.WH project, and goes to show how valuable these conversation themes are to the wider work of Edinburgh World Heritage and the city’s residents.

Audiences are welcomed from far and wide from the comfort of your own home. Keep an eye on the EWH events page for more information on the upcoming conversations: https://ewh.org.uk/get-involved/events/
